Jewellery brand targets record charity fundraising as demand for Remembrance collection grows

AWARD-WINNING jewellery brand Clogau is targeting record fundraising after producing 10,000 limited-edition poppy pins for a nationwide Remembrance campaign.

The company, renowned for its jewellery containing rare Welsh gold, has raised almost £130,000 for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) over the past two years through a growing partnership combining retail sales with charitable giving.

Now entering its third annual pin campaign, Clogau is looking to build on that success, with thousands of customers across the UK having supported the initiative since 2024.

The latest collection will be available through the brand’s retail network and online store, reflecting the increasing importance of charitable collaborations in connecting businesses with customers and supporting worthwhile causes.

For Clogau, the campaign has become an established part of its retail calendar, strengthening customer engagement while generating significant financial support for serving soldiers, veterans and their families.

Clogau Managing Director Ben Roberts said: “The response to our poppy pins has been phenomenal, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the campaign.

“To have raised almost £130,000 already is something we’re immensely proud of, but we want to go even further this year.

“That’s why we’ve ordered 10,000 pins, and we’re hoping people will once again get behind us and help raise as much money as possible for a charity that does such important work.

“Remembrance is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces, but it’s also an opportunity to make a real difference to those who have served and their loved ones.

“We’ve built a strong relationship with the Army Benevolent Fund over many years, and we’re delighted to continue supporting them.”

Headquartered in North Wales, Clogau has developed a strong retail presence across the UK, with its distinctive jewellery collections and Welsh heritage central to its brand identity.

The Remembrance initiative demonstrates how an established consumer brand can use its customer base, retail outlets and digital platforms to deliver meaningful charitable impact.

The ABF provides financial assistance and practical support to serving soldiers, veterans and their families facing hardship, injury, illness and other challenges.

Daniel Jones, Head of High Value Relationships, Army Benevolent Fund, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Clogau for once again supporting the Army Benevolent Fund through this year’s Remembrance pin badge campaign.

“Partnerships like this play a vital role in helping us provide support to soldiers, veterans and their families when they need it most. We are also grateful to Clogau’s customers, whose generosity will help ensure members of the Army family can continue to access vital support.”

The limited-edition pins will be available online and through participating Clogau stores and outlets, subject to stock availability, ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
