fulfilmentcrowd appoints Neil Midgley as Director of Operations

fulfilmentcrowd a global, tech-first fulfilment provider – has announced that Neil Midgley has joined the business as Director of Operations. 

The move comes as fulfilmentcrowd continues its growth plan following investment from Palatine Private Equity in May 2025.

Reporting to Managing Director Paul Taylor, Neil joins as Director of Operations, a role in which he will lead core operational functions spanning network partners, sales, onboarding, and account management, ensuring alignment and efficiency as the business expands globally.

Neil joins fulfilmentcrowd from GXO (formally Wincanton), where he served as a Head of Operations and various other roles across a 14-year tenure. With GXO, his responsibilities included managing a semi-automated shared-user fulfilment distribution centre, managing large retail grocery customer distribution centres, and leading multi-depot transport networks.

Neil brings 37 years of logistics experience to fulfilmentcrowd, having previously managed large manufacturing fleets, as well as UK and European warehousing and transport operations. He also graduated in 2012 with a BSc Honours Degree in Logistics & International Trade.
