St Helens businesses are being invited to enter the borough’s most prestigious business awards, with nominations now open for the St Helens Borough Business Awards 2026 – and two brand-new categories added for the first time.
This year’s ceremony, to be held on Friday 13 November 2026 at the BrewDog Stadium, will for the first time recognise excellence in manufacturing and construction, and introduce a new Sustainability and Environmental Impact Award for organisations demonstrating genuine commitment to green practices.
Entries are open across a full range of categories including SME Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, Community Impact Award, and Apprentice of the Year – culminating in the prestigious St Helens Business of the Year. Applications close at midnight on 18 September 2026.
Abi Ekoku, Chief Executive Officer of St Helens RFC, said: “These awards are about much more than commercial success. They celebrate the people, organisations and partnerships that make St Helens such a special place to live and work — and we look forward to welcoming the borough’s best to our stadium in November.”
The awards are open to any business based in, operating within, or making a significant contribution to St Helens. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for organisations wishing to support the event.
