Harrows Darts Hits The Mark With Premium Play For Darts Community As The Sport’s Growth Continues.

Permanent Fortis price reduction sees fan favourite board now available at £59.95 as a new generation of players discover the sport following record audiences and growing participation

Leading darts manufacturer Harrows Darts has announced a long-term commitment to the growth of darts and making premium equipment more accessible by permanently reducing the price of its flagship Fortis dartboard.

The move comes as interest in darts reaches record levels. The 2024 PDC World Darts Championship final, featuring Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, attracted a peak television audience of 4.8 million viewers, making it Sky Sports’ most-watched non-football event ever and introducing millions of new fans to the sport. The darts obsession has continued to grow with the final of the 2026 Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Darts Championship engaging an audience of 2.5 million on Sky Sports, and the Darts viewership figures on Sky are now more than 100% higher than four years ago.

With more people picking up a set of darts for the first time, Harrows says it wants to ensure that high-quality equipment with longevity is available to players at every level, whether they are competing in local leagues, playing in pubs with friends or creating a darts setup at home.

Unlike a temporary promotion or seasonal sale, the new Fortis pricing will be permanent and forms part of Harrows’ long-term commitment to supporting the continued growth of the game.

Damian Ara, Managing Director of Harrows Darts, said: “Darts is having one of its biggest moments in years. We are seeing record interest in the sport, with more people watching, playing and discovering darts for the first time and that growth is showing no signs of dissipating.

“Rapid growth brings real opportunity for darts, but accessibility must remain at the heart of the sport. As more people step up to the oche, we want to make sure they can start with a quality board from day one.

“We put a huge amount of work into the design and development of Fortis, and we stand by it as the best-quality board on the market. It was created to deliver the durability, playability and performance serious players expect.

“Like many sectors, the darts industry has been impacted by rising costs, from raw materials to manufacturing and logistics. Where we can, we want to absorb those pressures rather than pass them straight on to players, particularly at a time when so many new people are coming into the sport. That is why we have taken the decision to permanently reduce the price of Fortis. This is a commitment that reflects our belief that more players should have access to the very best equipment.”

The Fortis dartboard has become one of Harrows’ most popular products, earning strong reviews from players for its durability, performance and build quality. By permanently lowering the price, Harrows hopes to make premium equipment accessible to more players as they develop their game.

Founded in 1973, Harrows has spent more than 50 years at the forefront of darts innovation, supplying players around the world and helping shape the modern game through pioneering product design.

Ara added: “The future of darts depends on keeping the sport accessible and welcoming. If more people are being inspired to pick up a set of darts, we want to help ensure they can enjoy the best possible playing experience from day one.”

The new Fortis pricing takes effect from Tuesday 16 June.
