Chester Business Club has announced the shortlisted candidates for this year’s Young Person’s Business Awards following a record number of entries.
The awards recognise young people across Chester who demonstrate business ambition, strong ideas and early entrepreneurial promise. Candidates have been shortlisted across two categories: the Vision Award and the Young Entrepreneur Award.
The Vision Award celebrates young people with a clear business idea, early-stage concept or strong ability to spot an opportunity. The Young Entrepreneur Award recognises young people who have already taken steps to build or run a business, highlighting practical enterprise, commitment and the drive to turn an idea into something real.

Judging will begin next week, with this year’s panel including Keren Isaiah, last year’s winner, alongside Roy Shelton, founder of Connectus Business Solutions; Emma Guy, Director of Aqueous Digital and founder of The Growth Orchard; and Gavin Floyd, Managing Director of DEESURVEYS Limited.

The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on 6 July, where shortlisted candidates, judges, sponsors and members of the local business community will come together to celebrate the next generation of business talent.
