Flextech Hose Solutions is delighted to announce the promotion of Scott Harman to Hygienic Sales, marking the latest step in a career spanning more than 20 years with the business.
His appointment to Hygienic Sales follows a series of promotions across operational and managerial roles over the years and reflects his extensive industry knowledge and Flextech’s continued commitment to retaining and developing talent from within the business.
Scott first became aware of the company, then known as Flexible Hose Supplies, when his secondary school arranged a work experience placement with the business. At the end of the placement, the team encouraged him to get in touch after completing his education if he was interested in joining them full-time.
He later returned to begin his career with Flextech in an entry-level warehouse role, handling picking, packing and general operations. Now, more than two decades later, and after successfully climbing the career ladder, Scott moves from Warehouse Manager to the Hygienic Sales division. The promotion marks an exciting new chapter for the 40-year-old, who is now expanding his wealth of expertise within the office and hygienic side of the business.
Scott said, “Flextech has always felt like an extension of my family. If you are willing to work hard and step up to new challenges, there are always opportunities to grow here. The variety, the people, and the team camaraderie are what have kept me here throughout my career. It never really feels like work, and I’ve always felt appreciated.
“I’ll always happily roll up my sleeves and help in any area where I can share my experience and support the team.”
