Chester Business Club Young Business Person Awards Set to Return in 2026

The Chester Business Club (CBC) is thrilled to announce the return of the Chester Business Club Young Business Person Awards for 2026.

The Awards, which were only launched last year, will offer a renewed opportunity to shine a spotlight on the region’s brightest young entrepreneurial talent.

Following the inaugural success of the awards, this year’s celebration will once again honour the energy, creativity and achievements of young people in the local business community.

The awards aim to recognise, nurture and champion young individuals whose ambition and innovation are driving economic and social impact in Chester and beyond.

Sponsors for the 2026 awards so far include Magnify PR, DEESURVEYS, and Connectus Business Solutions, whose support will help ensure the continued growth and influence of this distinguished initiative.

Winners will receive a trophy, Chester Bid vouchers of up to £500 to spend in the city, and mentoring and support from members of the CBC. Shortlisted candidates will also receive prizes.

Gavin Floyd, Chair of the Chester Business Club, said:

“I am absolutely delighted that the Chester Business Club Young Business Person Awards are returning. These awards play a vital role in recognising and encouraging the incredible young talent we have in and around Chester. The CBC is proud to provide a platform to celebrate their achievements.”

The awards were originally created by Nick Owens, founder of Magnify PR and a member of the Chester Business Club’s Executive Council. Magnify PR returns as the event’s lead sponsor. Nick said: “I’m thrilled that the awards will be returning. When I created them, the aim was to give young business people the recognition they deserve and to help raise their profile within the wider business community. Seeing the awards come back, with such strong support from sponsors and CBC, is fantastic and I’d encourage people to apply.”
