CocoonCarbon®, the specialist carbon emissions calculator, has been adopted by PT. Arrakasta Nusalink Logistik (ANL) as part of the company’s latest step towards more sustainable and accountable supply chains. The technology will give ANL and its customers the tools to see, understand, and act on shipment-level carbon data across their entire logistics network.
Indonesian logistics provider ANL has partnered with Lichfield-based software company CocoonFMS® to embed the CocoonCarbon® engine directly into its operations. The move supports ANL’s ambition to lead the transition to “greener, more responsible” logistics in Indonesia by making emissions data visible and usable rather than abstract.
As pressure grows worldwide for clearer ESG reporting and lower-impact supply chains, ANL will use CocoonCarbon® to calculate and report emissions across all modes of transport. The integration will support both internal decision-making and external reporting, aligning with the increasing focus on decarbonising trade and transport in the run-up to COP30 in Brazil.
Because CocoonCarbon® delivers shipment-specific calculations, ANL – a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) – can now place environmental accountability at the heart of its services. Customers will be able to see a clear, data-backed view of the carbon footprint associated with each movement, helping them track, benchmark, and reduce their logistics-related emissions.
Salsabila Gunawan, Human Resources & General Affairs Manager at ANL, said the new system is an important milestone for the business and the wider sector:
“Integrating this carbon emissions calculator into our day-to-day operations strengthens our role as a pioneer in Indonesian logistics. Every shipment is now accompanied by transparent information about its environmental impact. That allows us to start more meaningful conversations with our customers about CO₂ emissions and give them practical tools to monitor and improve their supply chain footprint.
“This capability differentiates us in the market. It brings extra credibility and transparency to our tender process and opens the door to future services, such as providing emissions reporting as a value-added solution to other logistics partners. By building sustainability into every consignment, we’re not only moving goods – we’re helping to move the industry towards a cleaner, more responsible future.”
For CocoonCarbon®, the collaboration with ANL demonstrates how emissions data can be turned into practical, operational insight. By making carbon information accessible across Indonesian supply chains, CocoonCarbon® is supporting ANL and its customers in meeting their ESG goals more effectively and with greater confidence.
