Amateur golfer Carl Rushton from Formby Hall Golf Club has been crowned the winner of the Race to Belek grand final, held on 29 October at the prestigious Gloria Golf Resort in Belek, Turkey.
The tournament, organised by Corendon Airlines, Kaden Group, and Gloria Hotels & Resorts, brought together top amateur golfers from across England and Scotland for an unforgettable finale on one of the world’s leading championship golf courses.
Rushton played consistently throughout the final, emerging victorious from a field of talented finalists who had each qualified through a series of events held at regional UK golf clubs between June and August.
The Race to Belek celebrated not just golfing skill but also international friendship and Turkish hospitality. Finalists enjoyed an all-expenses-paid golf experience, including flights with Corendon Airlines direct to Antalya, five-star accommodation at Gloria Golf Resort, and access to world-class golf facilities and hospitality.
