Chartered Accountants Expands with New Office, Growing Team, and Strengthened Leadership

Salisbury’s Chartered Accountants has marked the next stage of its growth with a series of significant developments – including the opening of a new office, the appointment of fresh talent, and the expansion of its leadership team.

The firm has added Llangefni to its portfolio of offices, joining St Asaph, Ruthin, Beaumaris, Tywyn, and Menai Bridge. The new base enhances its presence in Anglesey and underlines its commitment to supporting clients and communities across north west Wales.

Six new recruits have joined the practice, increasing the workforce to 47. Among them are trainee accountants Elliott Coles and Maggie Hopwood in Llangefni, trainee accountants Charlie Austin and Celyn Hughes in St Asaph, management accountant Edward Lavery, and payroll trainee Tom Pape.

At the same time, existing team members Hannah Addison, Eiry Owen and Toni Warren have stepped up into senior leadership roles, further strengthening the firm’s internal expertise.

Director Aled Roberts said these moves reflect an ongoing period of significant expansion.

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen almost a 50% increase in our workforce, which is a fantastic achievement,” he said.
“There’s more to come, with plans to take on new staff in 2026, but for now it’s about giving our team time to settle and thrive within what is already a phenomenal group here in North Wales.”

The Board of Directors has also welcomed a new member, with Caryl Rees appointed alongside Aled Roberts, Jeremy Salisbury, and Jason Matischok, taking responsibility for the company’s Anglesey bases.

“Caryl has worked tirelessly over the years and is a huge asset to the business,” said Jason.
“Her appointment was a natural next step and key to our long-term success. We’re excited to have her by our side as we deliver our strategy and continue to grow.”

The firm has built a strong reputation for promoting from within and creating opportunities for the next generation of accountants. Its culture combines traditional values with forward-thinking use of technology, ensuring clients receive expert advice with what the team calls “the personal touch.”

Jeremy Salisbury added: “Bringing through the next generation of accountants is pivotal to our future.
“With legislation and technology changing so quickly, we’re proud to be at the cutting edge while continuing to deliver a service rooted in personal relationships and trust.”

With more than half its workforce bilingual, Salisbury continues to proudly champion the Welsh language while providing tailored services for clients across Wales and beyond. Looking ahead, the firm remains focused on growth, staff development, and nurturing the next wave of accountancy talent.
