Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its market-leading Education practice with the appointment of Emma Jacobs.
Emma brings to the team considerable expertise in strategic commercial, regulatory and corporate advice to academies and independent schools. She has built a strong practice advising schools on commercial agreements, governance-related documentation, restructures, amalgamations and mergers.
Emma joining the firm on 14 May follows the appointment of Jack Howes in April this year.
Winckworth Sherwood’s growing Education Law team represents a large number of schools and academy trusts, dioceses, trustee bodies, independent schools and colleges across the UK. It has a strong reputation and is widely respected for its support to schools in navigating organisation change including academy transfers, mergers and acquisitions and governance reviews.
