Chic Cambridgeshire wedding venue, Swynford Manor, has been named ‘Romantic Wedding Venue of the Year’ at The Nation’s Wedding Awards 2024.
Now in its third year, The Nation’s Wedding Awards are an elite celebration of the UK wedding industry, honouring the talented individuals, teams and businesses whose sole aim is to provide couples with the most magical memories and a wedding day to remember.
Following an overwhelming response from the public and a phenomenal number of nominations, all winners from across the nation were revealed at a black-tie ceremony on Monday 11th November at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham.
With over 250 finalists across 28 different categories, Swynford Manor was one of 10 venues in the UK to be shortlisted for ‘Romantic Wedding Venue of the Year’ – and the only one to be recognised from the Cambridgeshire region.
Located on the borders of Essex and Suffolk in Newmarket, Swynford Manor boasts an impressive history dating back to the 1800s when the famous wordsmith Lord Byron was known to pen his romantic poetry under one of the trees within the seven acres of stunning grounds.
Now, the boutique manor house is an exclusive-use wedding venue with an elegant monochrome interior, plush furnishings and unrivalled views across the Cambridgeshire countryside.
