People TECH Fund II Makes First Investment

The HR TECH Partnership recently successfully closed its People TECH Fund II and is now delighted to say that it’s making its first investment in RecruitmentSmart which focuses on CV screening using advanced AI techniques.

RecruitSmart’s machine learning technology ‘Sniper AI,’ developed alongside researchers from Carnegie Mellon University, allows HR functions and recruitment agencies alike to match CVs to job specifications and screen up to a billion CVs per day. The technology comes at a time when HR departments are under increasing pressure to find the very best talent, meet diversity targets and improve the candidate experience.

Established in London in 2016 by Managing Partner, Devyani Vaishampayan, The HR TECH Partnership has since then been active in investing in digital people start-ups.  After raising Fund I (which has successfully made two investments), People TECH Fund II is targeting investments in growth stage technology companies (post early seed) specifically improving workplace and employee productivity and human capital performance.
