IT SERVICES and solutions company Mintivo has made two senior level appointments as it sets its sights on an ambitious growth target.
The Wiltshire company has appointed Steve Casey as Finance and Operations Director and Graham Ford as Head of Customer Experience. Managing Director Alex Jukes said the recruitments are part of a three-year growth strategy designed to drive the eight-year-old company’s continued expansion and strengthen its market position.
Last year saw the Chippenham firm, which specialises in managed IT support, consultancy, cyber security and automation, achieve 40 per cent growth for the second successive year and is predicting it will grow by at least another 25 per cent this year.
“We’ve known that we need to invest in senior people for a little while now and off the back of last year’s excellent performance we have taken the decision to go ahead because we want to make sure we have the structure in place to support our growth,” said Mr Jukes.
“We’re lucky to have found Graham and Steve at the same time, because they’ve both got a lot of experience. They have worked in companies that were in a similar position as us today, but importantly they helped take them to where we want to be, they know what that journey looks like.
“They’re perfect for us, because they have scaled companies and understand what needs to be done.”
Mr Casey was formerly Chief Finance and Operating Officer at security firm Veritas and was most recently Portfolio Chief Finance Officer at the CFO Centre UK. He said: “Having worked with Mintivo as a client previously, I’ve seen first-hand the impact of their innovative solutions and the integrity with which they operate.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the team and it’s a privilege to contribute to a company whose values I already believe in. I look forward to helping drive forward its vision and growth journey, bringing my insights and experience to support the next exciting chapter.”
Mr Jukes said his experience will help put process and structures into place that will support Mintivo’s growth as well as bringing valuable insight. “Part of Steve’s role will be forecasting and scenario planning to explore the opportunities ahead to ensure the company can capitalise on opportunities to grow, plan for new initiatives and continue to support and develop its people,” he said.
“While the last couple of years have been strong, planning ahead like this means we can keep driving the business forward with confidence.”
Mr Ford was most recently Head of Service Delivery at IT consultant MindCraft. He said: “I am delighted to join Mintivo at such a pivotal moment in its growth. The team has established a strong and successful foundation, and I look forward to engaging directly with our customers and the internal teams to further enhance those relationships.
“I’m keen to apply the experience I’ve gained from previous MSP roles to support continuous improvement and deliver meaningful, measurable value.”
Mr Jukes said his appointment will help ensure Mintivo’s customer service, which is a huge factor in its rapid growth, remains at a high standard. “Our customers who have been on a journey with us have come to expect a high level of service, that’s why our retention is really good,” he said.
“My concern has been that as we continue to grow our business, we need the right systems, processes and people to make sure we maintain that excellent customer experience. Graham will help us keep up that standard while also developing the right culture as we transition from a start-up to more of a small corporate environment – without losing the spirit that won us so many customers in the first place.”
The company is also looking for a Head of Tech, said Mr Jukes. “We want someone in the business to take ownership of our technology strategy and ensure our products and services continue to evolve to meet the needs of our customers today and in the future,” he said.
“We started eight years ago and have grown quickly but we don’t want to rest on our laurels, we want to make sure we keep our finger on the pulse and continue developing the service we offer our customers.
“We’ve got a really great team here already but Graham, Steve and the new Head of Tech are going to add a lot of value to them by mentoring and supporting them as we continue to grow.”
