British watch business entrepreneur and social media influencer, Tim Hayden continues to raise his profile in the US after having the honour of being invited to throw the first pitch at the Kansas City Monarchs baseball game with Sioux Falls on Monday.
Hayden’s baseball appearance clearly brought some good luck to the Monarchs as they secured a 2 to 1 win at Legends field stadium. Hayden’s pitch was caught by Monarchs pitcher Patrick Weigel.
Hayden’s personal profile is driving forward his significant business growth for watch brand, Hagley West, which turned over more than $1 million during his first quarter visit to the US. He returned stateside last week to continue the next stage of his overall ambition of visit all 50 states promoting Hagley West.
The second US tour of this year began in St Louis, Missouri and is continuing this week and next weekend in Kansas City, Kansas. As a huge sports fan, Hayden explained that he couldn’t turn down the opportunity to step onto a baseball field.
“I’m a huge cricket fan, we recently had our successful JP21 charity event in Menorca. Whenever I can I love to go and take in different sports whether that be basketball, American football or in this case baseball.
“I don’t think I embarrassed myself too much with the pitch and it was a great honour to be able to step out onto the field. It’s all about further increasing the brand reach of Hagley West and it seems to be working! We had an incredible 318 people come out to join in our #FindTim challenge in St. Louis last weekend, and I’m really excited to see what happens this weekend in Kansas.”
Hayden continued, “The company message of #Loveyourjourney has gone far and wide and I do think it’s that which resonates with people. We all have different experiences in life and I think we’ve built a community now through connecting on that basis, which I’m very proud of.”
