Netcompany recognised for its highly flexible, componentised and agile approach
Netcompany, the international IT services company, today announced that together with the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC), it has won the ‘Emerging Technology of the Year’ Award in the Technology Excellence Category at the 2022 UK IT Industry Awards.
This recognition consolidates Netcompany’s rapidly growing UK presence and proves the effectiveness of the technology designed for the NHS Covid Pass. It reflects the vital role that NHS Covid Pass has played towards safely reopening British society. The service provides a secure and accessible way for citizens to share their Covid-19 status or prove their vaccination status when travelling internationally.
The service was rapidly delivered and designed to be highly componentised, modular and agile in its architecture.
“This is a fantastic result for Netcompany and the Department for Health and Social Care,” said Richard Davies, UK Country Managing Partner, Netcompany. “This award recognises our talented teams, expertise, and dedication towards creating technology solutions that help to improve the everyday lives of citizens. We are immensely proud of the NHS Covid Pass, which has been a critical tool in helping to re-open society.”
In addition to winning the Emerging Technology of the Year category at the UK IT Industry Awards, Netcompany and DHSC were also highly commended in the ‘Best Healthcare IT Project of the Year 2022’ category for Covid Pass.
