An award-winning Stourbridge businesswoman revealed her new range of perfumes in a glamorous launch night that also saw £300 raised for a charity supporting families affected by murder and terrorism.
Smile for Joel founder Suzy Evans was a guest at the Levant Perfume event at Telford’s Holiday Inn which included tasty treats from Dubai, a string trio, a belly dancing performance and a chance to sample some of the new products.
The launch was organised by Lisa Davis of Levant Perfume, who said that as her love for travel inspired her perfume range and Suzy continues to campaign for tourists’ safety, it was a privilege to support Smile for Joel.
Lisa, 52, who first visited Dubai seven years ago, has clinched a Khatoon Successful Woman title there and featured across national TV and newspapers.
The award is reserved for entrepreneurial women in Dubai who impress organisers through commitment and dedication to excellence.
It comes after the former interior design company owner grabbed an opportunity during the pandemic to follow a new direction and now has seven fragrances in her range.
She has been working with specialists in Dubai and returning several times a year to develop her own fragrance selection– not only for individuals but also for businesses to help make the right impression, particularly in the hospitality industry.
Lisa said: “We all love our holidays but not many of us are inspired to start their own business when they return. I fell in love with Dubai on my first visit and have gone back countless times to develop my unique and exquisite blends – for men, women and interiors.”
Suzy said: “This was a fantastic night and we are very grateful to Lisa for her support. It means the world when companies support us and to see Levant doing this from their earliest days is very special.”
